Sandra Ross Obituary

Mrs. Sandra Dot Ross, 81, of Jackson, South Carolina, and formerly of Nelsonville, Ohio, entered into rest on March 4, 2026.

Born on January 5, 1945, in Nelsonville, Ohio, Sandra was the daughter of the late Carl Crihfield and Kathleen Bailey Crihfield. She devoted many years of caring service as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that reflected her compassionate heart and desire to help others. Sandra was also a faithful member of Buchtel United Methodist Church.

Sandra found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved crocheting and creating things with her hands, but her greatest happiness was found in the time she shared with her family and friends. Though she made her home in South Carolina, she deeply missed those she loved in Ohio and treasured every memory and connection she had there.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gerald Leon Rupe, Jr. and Kelly Huffman (Tim); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marqueeta Hartman, Clinton Crihfield, Walter Crihfield (Shirley), and Junior Bailey; along with many extended family members and friends who will remember her with love.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann Terrell; her brothers, Edward Crihfield, Michael Crihfield, and Charles Crihfield; and one beloved great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Ohio at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Sandra's life.
