What a great lifetime friend! Timmy is one of those competitive, spirited coches who was passionate in how he coached and celebrated in his players successes. But he was so much more. He had a big heart, a desire to do his best, and and he enjoyed his life. May God Bless Timmy and his family for all the love they shared and the joy he brought to all of us! You will always be remebered for the positive influence you shared with all of us!

Cynthia, Ricky, Chris & all the Linker family,
I'm saddened to read of Timmy's passing. Whenever he & I crossed paths, Timmy always extended his hand to shake mine with that genuinely warm smile of his. I'll always remember that abt him. My sincere & heartfelt sympathy for the loss you must feel.
Also, what an incredibly beautiful video!

I first met Timmy at my daughter, Lisa’s wedding to Ken Smith. Timmy was one of the wonderful groomsmen. Years later I watched Timmy coach my grandsons, KL and Mac Smith in baseball for many years. Awesome is the only word. I got to know him better once I joined St. Mark. What a truly wonderful Godly man he was. He will be soooooo missed.

Timmy Linker Wow you will be missed my friend , He touched so many life's on and off the Diamond He loved his family and spoke of his love of his Church often when we talked he also was a true mentor with youth sports and loved the game of baseball where he spent most of his time at the park in West Ashley. He love to compete and teach at the same time and had such a personal touch with Coaches & Parents. If not on the field coaching he was up in the press box announcing a game in his own very way , Prayers to all the family I will miss your smile and words of encouragement my friend God bless .

I´ve known Timmy from the early 70´s. Played Small Fry All Stars for him in 74´.That team also was coached by Victor Lighthart. He coached with my father on a couple of all star teams in the 70´s and 80´s. The team in 1977 won the state championship and went on toSulphur ,Louisiana to play in the Dixie Youth World Series. So I´ve known Timmy and family for a long time. Great man, great family. Sorry to hear of his passing.

If a Mt. Rushmore of St. Andrew's Parks & Playground is ever built, Timmy will be in the running for one of those spots. What a great person who touched so many lives!! I feel sure Buddy Carter, Ron Koch & Jeff Gladwell will also help showing him around in Heaven.

Timmy was not only an amazing godly coach to my sons, Jon and Jeff, but he also taught them to respect one, taught them discipline, and taught them the love of baseball. He was such a blessing to each of us. He was a great example of what Christ wanted him to be. God bless to all the family.

Timmy was my baseball coach back in the early 90’s. Some of the best times I had playing sports growing up were on his teams. He taught me a lot about baseball, and was just a great person. He was my coach for two years and my all-stars coach as well. Those years left me with memories I will never forget about baseball and all how much fun it was to be on those teams. He definitely impacted mine and many others lives. It was always great to see him as I got older and got know him off the field. Thank you Timmy for all you taught us. We will miss you.

Our son, Matthew, was blessed to play for Timmy at St Andrews Fields. Timmy always took the time to inspire, and teach our young children. He taught them integrity, honesty, self confidence, discipline and yeah, how to play ball. He showed them how to have fun and laugh. His presence and smile at St Andrews fields will be missed by all. He loved his kids and they loved him. Thank you Timmy.

Timmy was such a great guy and a great help to me while I was coaching at West Ashley. I could always count on him to have the stats every week for the game on Friday. He will be missed and thoughts and prayers for the family.
