Dear Mary, Kevin, Susan, and all the love ones.

My thoughts and prayers have been with you since I heard the news of the loss of that wonderful man. I know all to well that death is always sad. It does not matter if it comes at the end of an illness because it comes at the end of a life as well. My heart is heavy for you because I know how much you loved him. He was truly loveable. Hearing of Malcolm's death is the first time his name was mentioned to me and it did not brighten my day. He was a great example of and inspiration for gentle manliness. Loved his God, his wife, his children, and all those he came in contact. I enjoy thinking about him and the joyfulness of his spirit. I remember the sadness he felt because he was growing old and could no longer help people as he did when he was younger. His joy and his pleasure was doing for others. He had a strong will and a tender heart. I hope in heaven he is allowed to joke with the other saints and sing with the angles.

God Bless Malcolm and all of you,

Joe Keating
