“Kenny” Goggans, Jr. Obituary

Mr. Kenny Goggans, Jr., 42, beloved husband of Mrs. Penny Michael Goggans, unexpectedly entered into rest on Sunday, March 22, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by love, devotion, and the quiet ways he cared for those around him.

Celebration of Life services soon be announced.

Kenny's greatest joy was his family. He was a proud and devoted husband to Penny and a loving father to their cherished sons, Riley, Wyatt, and Konnor Goggans. Whether cheering from the sidelines, recording wrestling matches so no moment would be forgotten, or simply spending time together at home, Kenny found his happiness in the lives of his boys. Those moments full of laughter, pride, and unconditional love will remain treasured memories for all who knew him.

He is also lovingly remembered by his parents, William Kenneth Goggans, Sr. and Deborah Tice Rhoden, by his sister and brother, Lita Bradshaw (Jason) and Sean Goggans, and his nieces and nephews, who will all forever hold close the bond they shared.

Born in Augusta, Georgia, Kenny was a hardworking and dedicated man. He faithfully worked as a machine operator with Bridgestone for many years, earning the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic and steady presence. Beyond his work, Kenny was a man of faith and service. As a devoted member and deacon of Warrenville First Baptist Church, he quietly lived out his faith, offering his time, support, and kindness to his church family.

Kenny had a simple, genuine way about him. He enjoyed fishing, video games, had a knack for "tinkering" and fixing things around the house, and found contentment in the everyday moments of life.

He never met a stranger only friends he hadn't yet made. Whether standing in line at the store or passing through his day, he had a gift for striking up a conversation with anyone and everyone. His easy smile, warm spirit, and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression, turning even the simplest moments into meaningful connections.

More than anything, he will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his gentle spirit, and the way he showed up day after day for the people who meant the most to him.

Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
