Vera Zimmerman Reese, of Aiken, SC, a woman of strength, grace, and devotion, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on September 3, 1937, Vera lived a life defined by her faith and the deep love she held for her family.
Vera was the cornerstone of the Reese family. Throughout her nearly nine decades, she witnessed a changing world, yet her core values remained steadfast: faith, and family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman Reese, and two of her children, Joyce Ann Reese and Losik Reese.
Vera's legacy lives on through her surviving family, who will miss her. She is survived by her children: Noel Reese (Rebecca), Steve Reese, Jackie Moore, Janice Williams, and Adam Reese, 9 grandchildren, and loving great-grandchildren.
A life so long and well-lived deserves to be celebrated. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she lost and is finally at peace.
At the request of Vera, no service will be held however, please make donations to Solid Rock Baptist Church 3079 Powderhouse Rd. Aiken, SC 29803 in Mrs. Reese's honor.
