Annie Cooke Obituary

Mrs. Annie Wyline Cooke, 94, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Blake Cooke, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, while in the comfort of the home of her daughter, Connie Liles.

Born in Westminster, SC, she is the daughter of the late Earnest Edward and Delphia Long Cox. She grew up in Westminster, SC, and spent most of her adult life in the CSRA.

Wyline formerly worked with the Augusta Chronicle and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. She was known for her "green thumb" and the excellent meals that she enjoyed cooking. Most Saturdays and Sundays during the fall of the year, she could be found watching football.

Along with cooking, gardening, and football, she also enjoyed reading and working on puzzles. However, she enjoyed nothing more than the cherished time that was spent with family.

Along with her daughter, Connie, she is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Pamela Jean (Larry), Bowe, brother, Harold (Mert) Cox, grandchildren Jennifer (Jeremy), Gattis, Billy (Jessica), Hickey, Jackie (Jon), Morey, Josh Munns, Blake (Amber) Hickey, Johnny (Laurel) Liles, great-grandchildren Autumn Gattis, Emily Gattis, Sophia Wehner, Riley Hickey, Lilly Hickey, Grace Munns, Rowan Hickey, Blake Munns, Jordyn Hickey, Wyatt Munns), and extended family members.

In honoring her wishes, Wyline will be cremated, and her cremated remains will be interred in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, SC.

The family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent and that memorials in Wyline's honor be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (www.stjude.org)
