Raymond Carpenter Obituary
Born in Erwin, TN, he was a son of the late Clarence and Gertrude Carpenter.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his children, Richard Carpenter (Shelley), Steven Duval (Greg), Stephanie Rodgers (John), and Christa Riddle; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, JoAnn Langston.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Carpenter and Vernon Carpenter, as well as a grandchild, LeAnn Carpenter.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodruff Road Christian Church.
