Bertha Algood Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Mae Algood, born June 12, 1957, transitioned from this life surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Willie Lee Jones and Lizzie Mae Payne-Jones.
Mrs. Algood leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, Robert D. Algood; one loving daughter, Tamika Watt; one brother, Willie B. Jones; and two sisters, Nellie Byrd and Henrietta Garrett, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
A woman of grace and quiet strength, Mrs. Algood will be remembered for her love for family, her kind spirit, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
Public viewing will be on Saturday March 28, 2026 from 10:00 am- 6:00pm at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Algood will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Gray Court, South Carolina.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family has entrusted professional services to Beasley Funeral Home and Staff of Greenville.
