Rhonda Koon Parris Rutherfordton, NC - Rhonda Koon Parris, 52, of Rutherfordton, NC, wife of Timothy Parris, died on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in the arms of the Lord surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 2 o'clock at Sandridge First Baptist Church Cemetery, 4677 State Rd., Ridgeville, SC 29472. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden St., Charleston, SC 29401. Rhonda was born on June 28, 1966 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Wilbur Donald and Ruth Hilton Koon of James Island, SC. She was a graduate from Ft. Johnson High School and received her Bachelor's degree from College of Charleston. Survivors including her husband Timothy and parents Wilbur and Ruth are: one sister: Pamela Koon Townsend (Richard) of Charleston; one niece: Ashleigh Townsend McKnight (Duncan) of Jacksonville, NC; and one nephew Price Donald Richard Townsend of Charleston, SC; three dogs: Charlie, Dory, and Cooper.
