Marvin David Shevela Summerville - Marvin David Shevela, Sr., 81, of Summerville, husband of Margaret Parks Shevela, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his residence. Marvin was born on May 18, 1939 in Glendive, MO, son of the late Ella Shevela. He retired from the US Navy. He worked for Charleston Heights Baptist Church for over 20 years. Survivors in addition to his wife Margaret are: two children, Marvin Shevela, Jr. (Darlene) of Summerville and Judy Shevela of Summerville; five grandchildren, Amanda Shevela Parlor (Chris), Jenna Rudd (John), John Granbois, Justin Odom, and Chelsea Odom; eight great- grandchildren; two siblings, Ronald Shevela (Virginia) of Glendive, MO and Pat Martin of Summersett, MA and many nieces and nephews.
