Margaret Ann Parks Shevela SUMMERVILLE - Margaret Ann Parks Shevela, widow of Marvin D. Shevela, Sr., of Summerville, SC, passed away on January 27, 2022 due to complications from COVID. She was born in Wise County, West Virginia on October 11, 1937. Her father was Edward Jake Parks and her mother was Gladys Hylton. She had 21 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Shevela Simonelli and a son, Marvin David Shevela, Jr,, both of Summerville, She has 5 grandchildren, John Granbois, Justin Odom and Chelsea Odom, Jenna Rudd and Amanda Parler. She has 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and collecting things and stuff. She enjoyed reading and was a huge fan of Big Brother and Survivor. Margaret was a resident of Cypress Place on Midland Pkwy in Oakbrook at the time of her death, She passed away peacefully at Agape Lowcountry Community Hospice House on Meyers Road in Summerville. She was cremated at Simplicity of the Lowcountry at 7475 Peppermill Pkwy. in North Charleston, SC. Both her and Marvin will be entombed in Beaufort Military Cemetary in the Spring.
