Dennis Biety Obituary

Dennis Michael Biety, age 78, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
He was born on July 7, 1947, in Elmhurst, Illinois and spent his early years in the greater Chicago area.
Dennis worked as an attorney for many years before transitioning into executive leadership roles, largely within the aerospace industry. He took great pride in his work and found deep satisfaction in helping, guiding, and mentoring others throughout his career.
Outside of work, Dennis was a man of limitless curiosity and wide-ranging interests. Each year seemed to bring a new skill or trade pursued purely for the joy of learning. Whether restoring antique oil lamps, welding, sailing, building muskets, or driving draft horses, he threw himself into each pursuit with boundless curiosity, determined to understand how things worked and how to do them well.
Dennis was a gifted storyteller with a sharp sense of humor. His laugh was unmistakable and contagious, often filling a room and bringing laughter to everyone around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Joseph Biety, and his brother, William Biety. He is survived by his son and daughter, Denton and Kristen Biety, his grandsons, Parker and Brooks Biety, brother Tim Biety, sister Katherine Biety Schorgl, and nieces and nephews who loved him immensely.
