Kermit and Gerri,
A week ago today a beloved son, brother, and father was taken so suddenly from us. Words could never express how sorry we are or how much we will miss him. You should be very proud of the man you raised him to be and, in turn, the father he was to those 3 boys. A man could not ask for better parents. Allow your faith in God to carry you through this difficult time and remember, it will never hurt as bad as it does right now. We love you so much.

HOW BOUT IT EDISTO'
Dean,Jacob,Patrick,Marla - I first met Chip as a member of Edisto. I always admired the love of his boys, we all had children the same age which in return made the hunt club complete.
Our boys played, went to camp, learned the love of hounds and created a family that until Sunday was unscaved.
Even after the split of Edisto we all remained in touch and could never forget the memories made on our hunts afield. It was all about our boys.
Chip, Fred and I returned your last dog
Sunday night to the catch pen.It took a minute to realize the honor of it.We broke down.
We will miss you Chips'
My heart goes with prayers to your family,

Boys know that your Dad was well liked by many who had the pleasure of working with him on a day to day basis and we will truly miss him

Dear Williams Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you in sympathy. I had not known Chip very long as I am a new member at the hunt club. What I did know of him was very apparent...he loved to hunt and he loved his boys! I was there with Dean and the boys that faithful night and know exactly what they experienced as I lost my father tragically in 1991. I assured Dean that if there is anything that I can do please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts, heart and prayers. Just remember that healing is a slow process and GOD is there to lean on!

Dear Marla, Dean, Patrick and Jacob -
We are so very sorry. Please know that you can call on us for anything that you may need, at anytime.
Hailey spoke very highly of "Mr. Chip" and said that he was always very sweet to her when she and Dean would spend time with him. Hailey spoke about Chip taking her to the store to make sure he had things she liked to eat and how much he loved his dog Trixie. Time flies by considering that I knew Chip from the shipping industry before our kids were even born.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to you. I have had the pleasure of working with Chip for the past 3 years only by phone. He was always very pleasant and "chipper".
