Dr. Lightsey was a true inspiration to me as a law professor, College president, and practicing attorney. I took my first law-related course at the College of Law with Dr. Lightsey, learned a great deal for which I still rely on today, and appreciated his skill and way for words in the classroom. His career and his character touched thousands of persons across the globe - I'm pleased to have been one of them. With sincere condolences to his family for their loss,
