Horace Harrell Obituary
JACKSON - Mr. Horace Lamar Harrell, Jr., 88, husband of Frances Lazar Harrell, entered into rest on Friday, December 1, 2017 at his residence.
His funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Hyder officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Beech Island Cemetery.
Mr. Harrell was a member of Abilene Baptist Church in Evans, GA. He was an avid bicycle rider and at age 69 rode from coast to coast.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Kathy Boswell (Bill), Carolyn Brawley (Boyden) and Leigh McGahee (Adrian); 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Bill, Kathy & Harrell family. Was so sorry to see that my friend Horace passed. He and I first met when I was a young banker with GA Railroad Bank & Trust & he ran the finance company on Ellis St. I would occassionally see him when he would come into the bank at National Hills with your mom Ann. Our paths crossed after we both retired when we would see each other at Golden Corral Rest in Aiken. It was always great to see him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.I Know that he will be missed. Donnie Hooks
