Jennie L. Simmons
Aiken - Jennie L. Simmons, age 81, of 3092 Silver Bluff Rd., entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 18, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday January 31, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, (Viewing 1-2 PM) 216 Baker St., Jackson, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call the residence or visit JACKSON-BROOKS CHAPEL, 606 Main St., New Ellenton, SC 29809, 803-649-6123, Friday from 3-7 PM.

To The Family of Ms. Simmons (beloved as Bey):
I'm Uncle to her Grandson, Frederick K. Simmons (L'il Fred). I fondly remember this sweet lady from my own childhood who was always so pleasant and endearing to us as children. I too fondly remember her love of God, the church, and her family. I and my family send love and prayers during this your time of bereavement at her transition from labor to reward. It is my prayer that flights upon flights of angels sang her to her much deserved rest. I specifically send our deepest condolences at this time to Fred Simmons (Big Fred) at the passing of your Mother. God bless and keep you all.
