Raymond Brantley
Piedmont, SC - Raymond Randolph Brantley, age 85, passed away on January 26, 2026.
Raymond was born on June 11, 1940, to Elvis and Catherine Brantley. He graduated from St. Angela Academy and later served in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country. He was also a former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and worked in maintenance at the Savannah River Site.
Raymond was married to Shirley Mae Buterbaugh Brantley, and they shared 63 years of marriage. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He is survived by his children, Duane Brantley and Angela Benson, and his four grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
Raymond was known for his strength, kindness, and dedication to his family. He will be remembered for the love he shared and the lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
A visitation with the family will be held from 1:30-2:30 Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Knights of Columbus (http://www.aikenkofc3684.org/)
