Timothy Claborn Obituary
Mr. Timothy S. Claborn, age 77, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at McLeod Seacoast following a brief onset illness.
Born September 7, 1948 in Chicago, IL, Tim was the son of the late Ralph D. Claborn and the late Teresa Schmitz Claborn. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Springfield and worked for the state of Illinois for thirty years in Public Aid. He was very proud of his service to his country during the Vietnam War.
Outside of work, Mr. Claborn was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He had a love of old trains and also coached baseball over the years. He was a jack of all trades and was especially adept at woodworking and landscaping.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Belinda V. Claborn; his children, John Claborn, Devin Claborn, and Jennifer (Matthew) Holler; his grandchildren, Owen Holler and Oliver Holler; his sister, Debra A. Milstead; and his stepdaughters, Melissa Walker and Raven Walker.
