Taylor Tatum Obituary
Taylor Hall Tatum, 36, of Greenville, SC, beloved wife of Zach Tatum, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Born on June 26, 1989, in Anderson, SC, Taylor was the cherished daughter of Harry and Kaye Hall of Anderson.
Taylor was a faithful member of Berea First Baptist Church, where her walk with Christ was nurtured and deepened. She graduated from Anderson University in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education and later earned her master's in education from Anderson University. She taught in both Anderson School District and Greenville County School District, pouring her heart into the lives of her students.
While attending Anderson University, Taylor met the love of her life, Zach, and they were married on June 21, 2014. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with their greatest joy, their son, Landon, age 7. Taylor delighted in being a wife and mother, finding her purpose and fulfillment in raising Landon and creating a Christ-centered home.
Taylor will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her radiant joy, and her selfless love. No matter the circumstance, she proclaimed, "The Lord is always good." Even in the most difficult seasons, her hope never wavered. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, treasured daughter, sister, and friend whose legacy of faith and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her husband and parents, Taylor is survived by her son, Landon; her brother, Collin Hall (Caroline); nephews, Abner, Messer, and Cove, who affectionately called her "Tater"; her beloved "Papa," Ed Clark; and cousin, Lena Brewster, who was like a sister to her. She is also survived by her in-laws, Barry and Gina Tatum; Chad and Melissa Rainey; and nieces, Tatum Olivia and Hayden Grace.
She was preceded in death by her nana, Betty Clark; granddaddy, Henry Morris; and grandma, Annie Hall.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Prisma Health Hospital, Cancer Clinic and the Liver Institute for love and care of Taylor.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in Berea First Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
