Shirley Hawkins Obituary

Shirley Faye Henderson Hawkins, 90, wife of the late Joe Crain Hawkins, passed away June 13, 2025. A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late George Dewey and Eva Aileen "Allie" Wilson Henson, she was a graduate of Jordan High School, a housewife, and member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Her first husband was the late Billy Ray Henderson. Surviving are two sons, Ricky Henderson (Judy) of Belton, South Carolina and Randall Henderson of Greer, South Carolina; one daughter, Ranae Henderson of Greer, South Carolina; two sisters, Merle Ervin of Summerville, South Carolina and Frances Reeves of Greer, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Brittany, Zachery, Erin, Lauren, Jessica and Summer; twenty great-grandchildren, Andrew, McKenzie, Madison, Justin, Gabe, Jazmine, Aubree, Everleigh, Cayden, Journee, Kyrie, Abigail, Winter, Skylar, Tristan, Josephine, Eleanor, Brooklynn, Abel, and Annie; four great-great-grandchildren, Roman, Talon, Syris and Wren. She was predeceased by a son Ronald Henderson, one sister, Margaret Barnette, and one grandchild, Jeremy Henderson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. David Walker. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
