Mequez Geer Obituary

Mequez Geer, affectionately known as QZ was born on January 10,1991, in Anderson, South Carolina, and tragically passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 34. Raised in Anderson, Mequez was known for his infectious laugh, his larger-than-life personality, and his unwavering love for his family-especially his children. A proud Clemson Tigers fan, he could often be found cheering on his team, cracking jokes, or shooting pool with friends. Whether at the poker table or a family gathering, he lit up every room he entered with humor, energy, and a warm, unforgettable presence. But above all, he was a devoted and hands-on father. Every event, every holiday, every milestone-he showed up. His children were the joy of his life, and he poured love, attention, and pride into each of them.
He leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his six children: Mèkayla, Jaiden, Milani, Malai, Isaiah, and Phoenix, who will forever carry his spirit and strength within them.
Mequez is survived by his father Anthony Craft, his sister Latisha Geer, and his brothers Antwan Geer and Marcus Bryant. He also leaves behind his special aunt Lashannon Craft, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Diane Geer, his grandparents I. V. and Nellie Craft, and his grandmother Zephia Geer, whom he loved deeply.
Mequez will be remembered for his laughter, loyalty, and the love he gave freely. Though his life was taken far too soon, his light will never be dimmed. His memory will live on in every story shared, every smile he inspired, and every heart he impacted.The Craft family will be at 18 North Lyons Street, Anderson, Sc 29624.
Funeral service for Mr. Geer will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.
Public visitation: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the mortuary, from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm
