Linda Meredith Obituary

Linda K. Meredith, 79, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away on March 20, 2026. She was born on November 21, 1946, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Duran Garrett "D.G." Keenan and Nancy Lee Reeves Keenan Watson

Linda was not just a homemaker; she was the heart of her family. Her nurturing spirit and infectious love for life made her the go-to person for comfort and support. A member of Praise Cathedral, her faith guided her through life, and her love for family and friends was evident to all who knew her.

Known for her beautiful flower arrangements, Linda had a creative side that blossomed in every aspect of her life. Whether she was arranging flowers or enjoying a sunny day at the beach, she found beauty in simplicity.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ron Meredith; two sons, Brad Meredith (Kathy) and David Meredith (Michelle); five sisters, Patricia Fowler, Joyce Connolly (Bill), Joan McManus (Ron), Debbie Anastos (Steve) and Judy Huckabee; five grandchildren, Joseph Meredith (Mary), Jake Meredith (Ansley Hendrix), Ava Meredith, Kaylie Meredith and Abby Fischer; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a nephew, Will Schwerdtfeger.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. Burial will be at Graceland East Memorial Park.
