Kyler McAbee Obituary

Kyler McAbee Lyman, SC Kyler David Shane McAbee, 37, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Timothy McAbee and Clara Sue Massengale Moore and the husband of Shanna Gosnell McAbee. He was employed with Fast Lube in Lyman as a mechanic. Survivors also include two sons, Kyler "Bryce" McAbee and Kolton McAbee; three daughters, Kaylyn McAbee, Kylyn McAbee and Khloe McAbee; two brothers, Johnathan McAbee and Luke Elmore; a sister, Heather McAbee; his aunts and uncles, Wanda and Chuck Forrester, Cindy and Jody Taylor, Timbo Massingale, Darrell Charles, Chairnell Creech Helmboldt and Alford Kay. Kyler was preceded in death by his beloved Nenny, the late Sarah Massengale, who raised him and whom he cherished deeply. Funeral services will be held 3PM on Friday, August 01, 2025, at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
