Candace Lanier Obituary

Candace Long Lanier, 51, peacefully passed away February 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of Ronnie William Long and Donna Edwards Nixon, she was the co-owner of Lanier Heating and Air Services and a member of Cannon Mountain Baptist Church.

Candace was a fun, living life to the fullest, family oriented, wife, mother, and Nana. She loved the beach, cruises, and butterflies. During her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to her beach house, spending time on the lake, and cruising with her husband. She had a beautiful soul and was a God-fearing woman.

Surviving in addition to her parents are, her husband, David Lanier of the home; a daughter, Lexi Lanier Moncus (Phillip) of Easley; two sons, David Austin Lanier (Courtney) of Greer and Thomas Ashton Lanier of Easley; two brothers, Patrick Long (Melissa) and Charles Nixon (Amanda) both of Greer; two grandchildren, Montana Lanier and Jayce Lanier; and maternal grandmother, Marlene Edwards of Greer.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Berea First Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Shannon McKee. The family will have a private burial.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
