Walter Watts Obituary

Mr. Walter R. Watts, 69, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at his residence.

Born February 17, 1946 in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late Marion Lee Watts and Eunice Odell Norton Watts.

Mr. Watts was a retired Navy Veteran with 26 years of service who served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching Westerns, spending time with his friends and family, and chasing redheads, as the family joke goes.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Mr. Watts' residence, 3661 Saint's Delight Road, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2pm.

Surviving are: his wife of 48 years, Isla Ann Cribb Watts; one son, Lee Watts (Rebecca Sue) of Surfside, SC; five brothers, Bryan Lee Watts (Jenelle) of Bonneau, James Marion Watts (Jennifer) of Georgetown, John Paul Watts (Lorie) of Galavant's Ferry, William Robert Watts (Jannie) of Virginia, Marion Phillip George (Angela) of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren, Hayley Mekel Watts of Surfside and Micheal McKinley Racer of Surfside; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Walter R. Watts Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys at 5959 Sherwood Forest Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70816 and Senior Helpers at 10698 Ocean Hwy #200, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org. Arrangements by Graham Funeral Home (843) 527-4419.
