Gene Bratcher Obituary

Gene Carlyle "Bubba" Bratcher, Jr., 46, beloved son of Gene Carlyle Bratcher, Sr. and Donna Wiggins Bratcher Howard (Michael), departed this life, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Saleeby Development Center in Hartsville.

Mr. Bratcher was born April 3, 1975 in Georgetown. He enjoyed lights, music, and stuffed animals. His greatest enjoyment was getting hugs, kisses, and pinching. He was a loving son and brother.

He is survived by: his father, Gene; his mother and stepfather, Donna (Michael); a sister, Amanda Marie Bratcher (Robbie Ellington); a step-sister, Kelly Hitchcock (Brandon); a nephew, Remington Kane Ellington; a niece, Alison Hitchcock; and his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by: his paternal grandparents, Mrs. & Mrs. Daniel (Ruby) Bratcher; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John (Betty) Wiggins.

Funeral Services will be private.

McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bratcher family.
