William Stroman Obituary

STROMAN, William WEST COLUMBIA - Services for William F. (Bill) Stroman, 73, will be held today at 2pm at Platt Springs United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Mary V. Teasley, with burial in Southland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Stroman died Saturday, April 30, 2005. Born in Woodford, SC, he was the son of the late William F. Stroman, Sr. and Goldie Hildebrand Stroman. After attending American University in Washington, D.C., Mr. Stroman was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the South Carolina Employment Security Commission after 40 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Suzzane H. Stroman; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney Elizabeth and Michael David Hutchins; grandson Mills Stroman Hutchins; granddaughter, Elizabeth Elliott Hutchins; sister, Rae S. Jones and brother-in-law, Jasper D. Jones; brother Walter P. Stroman and sister-in-law, Dancy M. Stroman; and several nieces and nephews.
