Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To my family: The death of Bobby is hard for me to grasp, Bobby was my father at different times and my brother when he wanted to be. My mother Anna took Bobby as her son. God has blessed Bobby in many ways as he does all of us. So I say this to the Jiles family, I know that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared Bobby’s love.
