William Croker Obituary

CROKER, William William Leslie Bill Croker, 81, of Summerville, husband of Marjorie Koetzner Heisser Croker died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Summerville Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Friday evening, June 29, 2007 at 7 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 o'clock until the hour of service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. Mr. Croker was born June 22, 1926 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Stanley Wilson Croker and Helen Alexandria Leslie Croker. He was a graduate of schools in Canada. He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force serving during World War II. He was a member of the Old Fort Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, the Omar Shrine Temple, Dorchester Shrine Club, the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans and a was a volunteer driver for the D.A.V. He retired as a rural letter carrier with the Seneca Falls Post Office in New York. Surviving in addition to his wife are: His children: Donna C. Opperman of Golden, CO, William J.
