My Uncle Tony was a Man I always loved to see when in South Caroline. He always brought a smile to my face. He was the kind man who always greeted you genuinely. While I was station at Fort Jackson, SC, we meet at Earth, Wind and Fire Concert at the local Arena. He travel all the way from Pinevile to go this Concert and did not know we would meet each other. We had moment we both cherished. I will miss him, just as I will miss all of my family members who have passed. Blessing to him and our family. Thank you for being my Uncle and Friend. Your Nephew John Junior.

TONY WAS A GIFT TO THE FAMILY. NEED SOMETHING DONE CALL TONY. You couldn't find many people like Tony. No matter where you saw him or didn't see him, he would let you know he was in your presence. Always had a joke for you. He always had a smile on his face. People who you thought didn't know him would say who the guy on the bicycle, yep that one. Tony you're fought a hard battle, but its over now. Take ya rest

Tony, to know you is to love you! As I look back over my life and think things over, I can truly say that I have been blessed to have you to have been a part of my life. You are another extended Uncle to Me and Amiyah, For as far as I can remember you have always been there and always not only show love but the last words that you always say to me is "I love You Baby". You did it without hesitation and consistency, you poured that same love into Amiyah. If I was by myself the First thing that you would say to me is "Where's My Baby"? Every time we would come to Pineville, she would say Mommy I don't see Cousin Tony yet or there is Cousin Tony over there. I have never seen you without that bright smile on your face , I can still so clearly see as I write this you waving & looking back at me on your bike with your backpack, as I am driving past you going to my parents house. As I look back in my rearview mirror you was still looking back. I can't begin to say how extremely glad I am that I followed my Spirit and came to see you during Thanksgiving. I knew that you was ready because when I prayed with you , I felt that you received God as your Savior. I will always love and cherish the times that we spent together for any & every reason at all. There's not a lot of people that can say that they have the pleasure of having Men like you in their lives. I just want you to know that Me and Amiyah will forever love you and keep your memories dear to our hearts. We will miss you some kind of bad, but I have a peace knowing that you are no longer in pain or suffering. You are resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with all of our Family. Oh what a time I know that this is seeing everyone again. Tell them all that I love them and continue watching over us from above. You are now one of our Angels! My tears are pouring but I can rejoice knowing that you will always be a part of my Heart!

It's so hard to write this. Tony was more than a co- worker, he was a friend. We all worked so well together at J.K. Gourdin. Whenever a teacher needed something done you were there. Thank you for your friendship, your patience and your love. Thank you for taking time with my grandson.
R.I.P my friend.
