Westray Nicholas Obituary

NICHOLAS, Westray Westray Nicholas of Bermuda Village, passed away May 15, 2007. She was born July 3, 1926 in Gastonia, NC to the late James Stacy Boyce and Westray Battle Boyce. An Honors Graduate of Philosophy from Sweet Briar College, Virginia, she continued her post-graduate education at Columbia University in New York City. She was a loving mother, wife and friend and truly loved life and the people around her. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, James Roy Nicholas; son, Stacy Nicholas and his wife, Kathy of Manhattan Beach, CA. A celebration of her life will be held at 3pm, Friday, May 18 at Bermuda Village. Her ashes will be scatted at her family plot at Old Town Plantation in Edgebombe County, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA.(Cremation Services, Inc.) Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
