Wanda Fields Obituary

Wanda Ruth Fields MONCKS CORNER - Wanda Ruth Fields, age 69, of Moncks Corner SC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 23rd 2011 at her residence. She was born in Knoxville TN on January 25th 1941 to the late Phillip H. Moore and Georgia Hunter Moore. She was an accomplished artist who painted wildlife and beach scenes in acrylics and water colors. She was a member of the Charleston and Goose Creek Art Guilds. She painted the murals at New Covenant Church. She was also a floral designer with Rosedale in Northwoods and Buds and Blooms. She enjoyed traveling, camping out, and fishing with her husband Warren and his Bass Club. She was an active member of New Covenant Church of North Charleston. Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband of 45 years: Warren Fields of Moncks Corner SC; son: Mark Fields and wife Lori of Moncks Corner SC; daughter: Sonya Kennedy and husband Lee of Riverview FL; grandchildren: Bradley Fields, Jamie Fields, Christopher Kennedy, and Kelly Kennedy; great grandchildren: Addison Marie Fields, and Talon Trent Tucker; brother Ricky Moore and wife Lynn. She was preceded in death by her parents; Phillip and Georgia Moore, and sister: Gerri Cockerham. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 26th 2011 at New Covenant Church, 2801 Ashley Phosphate Rd., Charleston, SC 29418. Interment will follow in Plantation Cemetery, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
