It was my privilege to serve as the transitional pastor for First Baptist Church in Newberry, SC for about one year several years ago. Harvey was very supportive and cooperative in serving on the Constitution & Bylaws committee to revise it. I considered him a friend and co-worker for the Lord. He will be missed in this world but certainly enjoying his place in heaven today.
