Vivian Furby Pinckney CHARLESTON - Mrs. Vivian Furby Pinckney, 79, of Charleston, S.C., entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Mrs. Pinckney's funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 11:00 AM, in Greater Refuge Temple Church, located at 230 Huger St., Charleston, SC 29403. The viewing for Mrs. Pinckney will be at Greater Refuge Temple Church on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, St. Lawrence Cemetery, located at 60 Huguenin Avenue, Charleston, SC 29401, will be the site of Mrs. Pinckney's burial. Mrs. Pinckney leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, James Pinckney, Sr.; children: Quinton Cobb, Darryl Furby (Lolita), James Pinckney, Jr. (Angela), Anita Greenway (Jimmy), Vincent Pinckney, Gerret Pinckney (Laronna), Octavia Taylor, Andrew Taylor, all of Charleston, SC; Robin Campbell (Melvin) of Charlotte, NC; Zenobia Dewely (Kevin) of New York, NY; and Inez Wigfall (Thomas) of Columbia, SC. She also leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her siblings: Geneva Furby Washington (Joshua); Louis L. Furby; and Barbara Furby, all of Charleston, SC. Two very special friends, Mother Margaret Jackson and Ms. Mary Anderson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and beloved church members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rosalie Furby; her siblings, Albertha Walker, Herbert Furby, Raymond L. Furby, Jr., and Janice Gadsden; her sons, Allie Williams, Elvis H.
