After they left the Air Force my husband and Roy, along with Ginny and I, were friends in Sumter, SC. I remember their big house and their dog named Friend. Also I remember when Erin was born. Those are fond memories of long ago when Roy played in a blue grass band.

We met Ginny through her remarkable parents, Margaret and Ray Swift. She became our babysitter and dear friend forever. When our first child entered school, she said that only Ginny's presence made it OK to get on the school bus. Even at that young age, Ginny was looking to anyone in need and helping them out.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children and grandchildren.

I met Ginny through the beginner's ukulele class and she was such an encouragement to me. I really admired her and she was such fun! We miss her bright light terribly. I attached some photos of when we played at the Whirligig Festival in Wilson, NC. My prayers will continue to be with Bill and her family.

Ginny and I were close friends and next door neighbors growing up together in Michigan. We played endlessly and shared so much having adventures in the field, woods, and river near our houses. We took ballet and piano lessons together as our mothers were also close. She is an indelible part of my childhood and what Anne of Green Gables would call a "kindred spirit". I will miss her.

When Ginny joined our ukulele group (UHOOS) two years ago, she brought a spark of enthusiasm for learning to play. She went quickly from being a beginner to being advanced. She liked sharing her joy of playing with others within our group and with her family members. With that enthusiasm came her kindness, wit, and creative talents. I feel so blessed to have had Ginny in my weekly life. I will miss her compassionate spirit and friendship. To know Ginny was to love Ginny. Sincerest heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

The Eaton Rapids Class of 1968 wants to express our deepest sympathy to both of Ginny´s daughters, Erin and Amy, as well as their extended families. Your mom has been our friend for decades. The memory of her beautiful smile and her wit will always remain in our hearts. Again, we are so very sorry for your and our loss.

Ginny was a friend to many and a bright light in our St Joseph Parish Family. Always there to lend a hand and give a creative fun touch to our FUNdraiser events. She will be sadly missed but her spirit lives on in our hearts. God bless and may she rest in peace in the Lord´s grace.

I had the honor and privilege to teach elementary school children with Ginny at Malcom C. Hursey in N.Charleston. It was her encouragement that helped me find the courage to go back for my second year of teaching.
She was kind hearted, compassionate, creative and fun to be with. We remained friends after both of us left the noble profession of teaching. We shared a love of pottery and yoga.
I was shocked and deeply saddened when Amy gave me the news of her passing. I am grateful it was peaceful.
She will be forever in my heart and every memory will bring a smile. She is LOVE and will always be LOVED
My heart goes out to Amy, Erin, their families, and all who had the gift and joy of knowing Ginny

Ginny had such a huge presence with her family. Always a smile, Always using her creative talents on the girls, just a genuinely wonderful ,kind lady. We met when our kids starting dating, and had some fun grandma moments in the past 29 years. Gone too soon and left a lasting memory of a sweet soul. We'll all miss you
