Virginia Brook Charleston - Virginia S. Brook, 92, known by friends and siblings as "Ginny", passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Charleston, SC. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara B. Sherrer; her son, J. Matthew (Susan) Brook; grandchildren, Ryan (Cheryl) Sherrer, Ashley (T.A.) Blackwell and Brian Fuchs; great-grandchildren, Brook Blackwell, Reed Sherrer, Luke Blackwell and Cecilia Sherrer; sister, Joan (W.C.) Moody and sisters-in-law, Jewel Seawright and Beverly Seawright. Virginia was a daughter of John Carol Seawright, Sr. and Claudia Bell Seawright. She was predeceased by siblings, Dorothy (L.W.) Padgett, Margaret (W.R.) Walters, Betty (F.H.) Momeier, John Carol Seawright, Jr., W. Ellis Seawright and Evelyn (I.H.) McKnight. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
