Virginia Boyert Obituary

Virginia Lorraine Boyert WALTERBORO - Mrs. Virginia Lorraine Boyert, affectionately known by many as "Tippy", age 60, of 458 Rentz Drive, Walterboro, entered into her state of eternal rest Monday morning, November 1, 2010, at her residence. The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon, November 4, 2010, from Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 925 Jefferies Blvd, Walterboro with The Reverend Fr. Donald Abbott and The Reverend Fr. Jeffrey Kendall officiating. The Final Commendation and Farewell rite will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Churchyard, 1150 Possum Corner Road, Walterboro. Mrs. Boyert was born February 26, 1950, in Charleston and was a daughter of the late Charles Archie Dyson and the late Clara Lorraine Infinger Dyson. She was a retired employee of Wal-Mart Superstore in Walterboro and was a member of Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church. She will be lovingly remembered for the care and devotion she had for her family. Surviving are: her husband for forty years, Mr. Leonard Edward Boyert; two sons, Stephen Boyert and his wife Kristina of Walterboro and Allen Boyert of Cottageville; four brothers, Charles Alton Dyson of Richmond, Virginia, James Merle Dyson of Saint Matthews, Timothy Michael Dyson of Summerville, and Bruce Jerome Dyson of Summerville; and three sisters, Cynthia Annette Challenger of Ravenel, Elizabeth Charlene Garcia of Virginia and Sharon Dyson of Virginia. There are six grandchildren that also survive. Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Saint Anthony Church, 925 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488. I will greatly miss Tippy. In the past that I have known her , there has been good times at the family reunions and also at her home. Michael and I will always have her in our hearts.
