We talked so often about you and your gardens and your dogs. He sometimes brought me tomatoes or fig jam. Such a lovely man. I know he was fighting cancer. Im sorry I didnt know sooner. But I send all condolences to you. Im sure will miss him terribly.

I hired Vic as a new graduate NCSU engineer .
We had just started the North Cove plant . We had quite a job to do but started and ran a great operation with new people who did a great job .
Vic will smile when I mention our boss Bill Carlyle . I endured rides to NC State and Clemson games that Bill the plant mamager insisted we go to. When we won I kept quiet . But we did have fun .
Vic had a great way to lead his people.
I had not seen him for many years but ran into him working in the pro shop at the PGA Championship at Pine Hurst and we have remained in touch by Facebook since .
God bless the family . I´ll miss and remember Vic.

Grew up with Vick playing teenage baseball and going to VBS and RAs at Calvary Baptist Church. Later we worked together for many years at Baxter. For several of these years we carpooled together.
Remember sliding into work in his little sportster , maybe a Mini Cooper? on several slick icy / snowy morning. Always in the best of spirits! Vic certainly loved his family and friends. He will be fondly missed by many.

Vick was one of my favorite people growing up, he and my twin brother (Charles Queen) and I had many good times at Calvary Baptist Church on 221 North, Marion NC. singing in the choir, Sunday School, Bible School, GAs and RAs, picnics, ball games, swimming....and their continued friendship at their beloved NC State. I can´t even picture Vick without a smile on his face in those wonderful memories and I believe he and Charles are reliving some of them in a beautiful, happy place with a lot of loved ones surrounding them.
