Veronica Whaley Obituary



WHALEY, Veronica Entered into eternal rest on May 27th 2007 at the Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, New York. The relatives and friends of Veronica Whaley are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday June 2nd 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Veronica Whaley was born on July 2,1956 to Naomi Whaley. She attended Mary Ford Elementary school in Charleston and Chicora High School until the ninth grade at which time she moved to Bronx, N.Y. were attended and graduated from Walton High School. Veronica them matriculated to Hunter College where she received her B.A. in Nursing and a masters in Nursing and Business Management. Veronica did not have any children but she was like a mother to many of her nieces and nephews. Veronica worked in New York nursing for over 20 years where she dispatched nurses all over the city. Veronica loved the lord and committed her life to him, and she attended church regularly. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Naomi Whaley of Bronx, N.Y. Five brothers Bishop Bernard Whaley ( Robin ) of Goose Creek, S.C. Otis Whaley ( Betty ) of N. Charleston S.C , Victor Whaley ( Betty ) of bronx N.Y, Anthony Whaley of Bronx, N.Y and Joseph Whaley ( Ruby ) of Atlanta,G.A. Two sisters Deborah Harrison (Victor) of N. Charleston, S.C. and Vanessa Cox (Gerald) of Bronx, N.Y. 3 uncles and Aunts and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
