My family and I are saddened to learn of Tra Ashia's passing. We fondly remember her when she attended Zion-Olivet Presbyterian Church. She was such a sweet child and we enjoyed sitting near her.

Several years ago I met Traashia when she wanted to by a home for her family. Traashia had several road blocks but she was determined to have her dream home. Her reason for such determination "my kids"she would say. Traashia always had a smile on her face, and a sparkle in her eyes. What happened to her is a travesty. Her children will never forget her. Traashia fought so hard for her and children to have a nice home. Traashia loved her kids, it is heartbreaking she was taken so young.

So sorry for your loss,I remembered Traashia when she was born, her grandmother Norma Gillespie was my co worker, we work at Charleston Naval Shipyard together, she grew up with my children.I saw her through the years still a beautiful girl. Norma loved Traashia with all her heart,that was her baby, she lived for her.She had an unconditional love for her ,I pray they are Happy together again.Love Forever.I and my family will be praying for you all as Traashia RIP.

Ms.Gillespie was my instructor at Centura College. She was one of the most sincerest person I've ever met. Its sad that she is gone. Ill be praying for her family.

Traashia was one of my favorite students at ECPI. She had a beautiful spirit and a smile that would light up the classroom. I always saw greatness in her eyes. She was like a lil sister or a daughter to me. Yes, she was the teachers pet. :) I will always remember her as a child of the King and a mom who was passionate about raising her child and always wanting the best. Rest easy pretty girl!

There are really no words to express my sympathy to the family. I watched her grow and every time I saw her, she always said "Hi" and had that great smile and always gave me a hug. I know I will miss that the most. Such a sweet and loving person and I cannot believe she is gone. I truly think the world of her family and love them all. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. TraAshia and I graduated together from college and instructed together at Centura a few years ago. No one has ever expressed their love for blue crabs as much as she did...I'm truly hurt by this tragedy as so many I know are...sending my prayers for the family for much needed comfort and strength.

To the beloved family of Traashia, it is with deep sympathy and grief that I extend my prayers to you. She was a beautiful woman and I considered a friend. She became a client many years ago and she was always a joy to see. I just saw her no more than two weeks ago and she was smiling. That is how i want to remember her. I pray that her children will be comforted during this time, and for the rest of their lives by God as their mother rests in HIS serenity.

Traashia, its been a few months since I've seen you but I still remember when you came home on the weekends when we were younger....so sorry to hear this and I'm praying for the Lord to strengthen your family to carry on for you... Still hard to believe. Rest on girl...you will always be remembered.

This is simply sad. I attend church with this family and did not even realize the connection. Her step father and my family all grew up together. This is still unreal to me! The Traashia I knew was always joyful and pleasant! I remember when we used to get our hair fixed from Santita and your mother Wanda and Santita would always fuss with you. We used to laugh about it at Garrett Academy. And even the last time we saw each other was like no time had passed. The news of your loss is heart breaking, I wish I could be there to say good bye.
