Timothy Litzinger Obituary

LITZINGER, Timothy Timothy Steven Litzinger, 56, of Charleston, SC, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, FL, was born in to the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, February 12, 2006, after a long battle with cancer. Tim was born on August 19, 1949, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the son of the Pius Gabriel Litzinger and Sally Carson Litzinger. Tim attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale where he excelled both academically and as an athlete. He continued his education at Florida Atlantic University. He spent most of his career as a retail salesman. He was a strong and compassionate man who genuinely cared for those around him. He expressed thanks to all of those who touched his life. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Litzinger Seagle and her husband of James Island, SC; his two sons, Timothy Michael Litzinger of Ladson, SC, and John Gabriel Litzinger and his wife of Chapel Hill, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen Litzinger Palmer and her husband of Houston, TX, and two nephews also of Houston, TX; and five young grandchildren, whom he had a chance to meet and touch their lives. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Timothy Litzinger at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC.
