Theresa Magee Scaffe
CHARLESTON - Teresa Magee Scaffe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Monday, February 9, 2026, at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant.
Teresa was born on October 25, 1949, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Mary Cisa Magee and Walter Magee.
Teresa attended St. Mary's College in Belmont, North Carolina and on June 16, 1974, married Thomas Scaffe. She devoted 42 years of dedicated service to the Steinberg Law Firm, where she was known for her loyalty, professionalism and kindness.
Teresa is survived by her beloved children: son, Toby Scaffe (Anna) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and daughter Kristen Parris (Greg) of Charleston, South Carolina. Teresa was a proud and loving grandmother to Banks and Mary Kirk Scaffe and Ellie and Avery Parris, who brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Cisa Magee and Walter Magee and by her husband, Thomas Scaffe.
Teresa will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her lifelong friendships and her steady, gracious presence. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.
