Dear Susan and family,
Thomas and I were so saddened to learn of Teddy's passing. I will treasure the driveway chats from years past when we first moved into the neighborhood. May he rest in HIS Peace and Comfort.

Susan, Tee, Mary, Fran, and all of the Mappus family, we love you and are praying for you during this tough time.
I never saw your father without a smile on his face or a little joke at the ready. He was a delight to be around and never a dull moment. I cherish the few times I got to sit with the family to celebrate and write letters to Santa together. He will be missed by many, but not forgotten.

Teddy was the ultimate nice and caring man. Seeing him walking every morning brought smiles and joy. He was the first to befriend us 28 years ago when we moved into the neighborhood. We will always remember his describing meeting Susan for the first time and the times they shared. We loved him and will miss his smiling face

So sad to hear of Teddy´s passing. He was certainly a part of my memories from youthful Citadel years, such a good guy.

Susan & Family,
We are so saddened by the loss of Teddy. I will truly miss seeing him take his daily walk around the neighborhood and wave to every single person. Teddy has always been friendly and kind to all. It just won't be the same without him.

Teddy Mappus was a well-respected and loved member of The Citadel's Class of 1972. He will be missed and mourned by his classmates, other Citadel alumni, and especially so by his companymates from Mike Company. May his memory be eternal. (Scanned photo courtesy of his '72 classmate, Jim Stoucker)
