Thelma Coker Burrows Barefoot N. CHARLESTON - We regret to inform you of the passing of our mother, Thelma Elizabeth Coker Burrows Barefoot. Thelma was born September 17, 1928, in Kingstree, SC, to Ellen Helen Coker. She is survived by her 5 children, Ellen Burrows Cook, George Burrows (Hannelore), Roger Burrows, Ruth Burrows Harkleroad, and Paula Burrows. Grandchildren, Ginny Rumble (Joey), Daniel Cook (Melissa) Jonathon Cook (Tracy) Kristin Burrows, Jessica Burrows (Jeremy), Charles Burrows (Carly), Kathleen Burrows, Timothy Harkleroad (Jennifer), Angela Argrett (Lawrence) and Devyn Brianna Burrows, 13 great- grandchildren and 8 great- great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husbands and grandson, Thomas Harkleroad. Our mother lived a good life dedicated to God and the spreading of Christianity. Af-ter graduating from Kingstree High School, she held several jobs while also fulfilling her role as a wife and mother, perhaps the hardest job of all. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her, especially her family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 12, beginning at 1 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church 3595 Ashley Phosphate Rd., N. Charleston. Interment will be immediately after at Magnolia Cemetery, 11 Cunnington Ave., Charleston.
