I am sorry to hear about Terri.I used to hang around her throughout middle school(C.E.Williams).The last time i saw her was 3 years ago,and we were both so glad to see one another.She was always smiling and full of life. She is in Heaven with my brother, Donald E. Phipps Jr. and i know for a fact, she's picking on him and he's picking on her. One things for sure, she will always be forever young. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ( I am sorry to have found out this late)

Our family was so very saddened to hear about Terri. We all thought Terri was such a sweet and very loving girl. She never seemed to find no wrong in anyone. Jacinda can remember all the laughs she and Terri had. She now has come home to rest with God. May God give your family the strength to get through this sudden loss. I am so sorry for your loss. Terri spoke to me many mornings as I walked to work at MUSC and always made a point of mentioning how pretty she thought my hair was. She seemed to have such a gentle soul and it's obvious she also had a very loving family.

My husband and I were so saddened and shocked to hear of Teri's death. Although I hadn't seen Teri for some time, the last time I did see her she had that glowing smile on her face. She was talking to a friend and laughing like she often did. She was a bright light in many lives and will never be forgotten. Teri is now at home in the arms of our Lord and will rest there with that smile and laugh like no other, forever. May God continue to watch, guide and protect you all during your time of loss. To the Melendez family,

I met Terri a few years ago and it was always a joy to talk with her. She was always concerned about "getting herself together," and expressing how she will "trust in the Lord" to help her get there.
I admired Terri for the respect she gave me and others. Even though she was having a bad time, there were times her pride shown through, she would try to pick herself up when she saw me coming in her direction. I would always let her know that she can still make life work.

I pray God's continuous blessing on the family as you go through your time of bereavement. Terry is in a better place, (I can she her trying tidying up her blouse as she approach Him).

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mary Ann and Robert: I was terribly saddened to learn last night about Terri's tragic death. Terri was a special person and you were wonderful, loving and caring parents. Please allow your thoughts of happier times and sweet memories to sustain you in the coming months. Know that our Lord and Savior is holding Terri right this minute and kissing the top of her head - he has welcomed her home - to everlasting peace - and we will see again! I am the voice for the community. We all loved, cared for, and took care of her. There was nothing that we would not have done for Terri. The news shocked, and saddened the entire community.
