Ted Crosby Obituary

CROSBY, Ted WALTERBORO - Mr. Ted Alvin Crosby, 51, of 1887 Ruffin Road, died Monday, May 22, 2006. Graveside funeral services will be held ten o'clock, Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Doctor's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Mr. Crosby was born July 11, 1954, in Walterboro, SC, and was the son of Katherine Ryan Crosby and the late George Russell Crosby. He was a business manager with Carolina Eastern and was the former co-owner of Saunders Farm Supply. He was an avid outdoorsman and farmer; and was a supporter of Quality Deer Management. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father; and for the love he had for his entire family. Surviving are: his wife, Russell Anne Saunders Crosby; daughters, Jennifer Berry and her husband Reese of Aiken and Katie Crosby and her fiancé Tanner Bunton of Walterboro; mother, Katherine Ryan Crosby of Walterboro; sisters, Theresa Crosby of Walterboro and Marilyn Turner of Barnwell; and his three labs, Sweet, Dixie, and Junior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Connie Maxwell Children's Home, Post Office Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648-1178. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at THE BRICE W. HERNDON & SONS FUNERAL HOME, WALTERBORO CHAPEL, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro. 843-538-5408.
