Tameka, it has been awhile since we chat, however, someone that knew us both in different areas of our lives took time out to get the message to me that you had gone home to be with our Lord and Savior. I know you are in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. You will be missed dearly.

Meeka I know that you are with Jesus. Just miss the times spent trying new restaurants and hanging out! I know that you are enjoying your new mansion in paradise! I will never forget how you remained faithful in your faith in Jesus. Luv and miss you.

It is never easy losing a loved one, the life, joy and happiness they bring each time that you see, hear or think of their name. God is ever amazing in all of his glory even when he whispers and takes them home to reign in heaven. During this time even though difficult, lean not to your own understanding but know in death new life begins. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this emotional period. I am in such misbelief,Meka was a good friend and my walking buddy from 8th to 9th grade I had the pleasure of getting to know her and her mom in those years, I'm sorry I did not stay in touch like I wanted but thru Facebook we were able to chat and share a few phone calls I'm going to miss her and that pretty smile!!! I have not spoken to Tameka since high school but I remember her as a great person and us joking and laughing. Even though we lost contact, I was shocked by the news and am deeply saddened for the family. I pray that God will give the family strength as they go through this very difficult time and that you will find a sense of peace in the memories Tameka leaves with you. May God keep you and Tameka be the angel that watches over you.

Still in utter shock. Last time I had contact with Meka she gave me the thumbs up on FB. I am truly, gonna miss her. She made my transition to Sedgefield Middle so awesome. She, Tawana, and myself were like three musketeers in 8th grade. All the fond memories of her I will cherish. (I still have old letters we used to write each other while in class). We followed the same path in nursing, and even share the same birthday month, hers being 4 days before mine, Tawana, one day after mine. I will truly miss her! You will never be forgotten Meka! From your smart mouth, to your long nails, to the gap in your teeth. You were one of a kind, and a great friend!

Tameka was a lovely person. I am incredibly saddened by her passing.
