Sylvia Maxine Stevenson Johnson SUMMERVILLE - The relatives and friends of Mrs. Sylvia Maxine Stevenson Johnson will celebrate her life on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 12 noon in New Bethel Sounds of Praise, 351 Grayback Rd, Summerville, SC. Bishop Allen H. Simmons, DD, Chief Apostle. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A walkthrough visitation will be held Friday from 2-4PM at the mortuary and 5-7PM at the church. New Bethel can safely accommodate 400 people using COVID protocol. Temperature checks, masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, they respectfully asked that all donations are sent to her daughters via cash app $MOSHAY84. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Johnson, daughters, Danielle and Shayla Johnson, all of Summerville, four brothers, Douglas Hudson (Gloria), Wendell Stevenson (Sarah), Bruce Levern Stevenson (Charlene), and Derrick Stevenson. five sisters, Abbie S. Billinghurst (Victor), Renee Spigner, Doris Stevenson-Burton (Charles), Margaret Michelle Stevenson Harvey (Louis-Charles) and Dr. Norma Commings (Sanders). Three sisters-in-law, Leatrice Johnson (Ervin), Janet Griffin (Early), LaDonya Chisholm (Herman), and a host of nieces and nephews.
