Mrs. Pendley and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have known Steve since we were kids and I am sure all Hanahanians are in shock. I coached basketball this year and saw Steve for the first time in 15 years as I had to move to Florida when the shipyard closed. He seemed to have become a really good father. We spoke about how life has changed us from those times long ago...for the best! May God help you through this most difficult of times.

Mr. & Mrs. Lem Pendley, Denise and children,
Steve and I played on the same baseball team as youths, won the state Championship and shared a lot of great memories at the lake house.
During another chapter in life, 1986, I lived with Steve and worked with him @ The Spa Life Shop. We had a lot of fun and sold a few spas in the process.
He was a great man and a good friend who was there for me when I needed a helping hand. I am truly sorry for your loss!
You all are in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to contact me; [email protected].

May our prayers be with you and your family. Your father has gone to a better place and he will be truly missed. We will never forget him standing tall with his arms crossed standing on the side lines of the basketball court and the football field. Now he will be standing tall in heaven.

"We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan; and a widower that man who has lost his wife. But that man who has known the immense unhappiness of losing a friend, by what name do we call him? Here every language is silent and holds its peace in impotence."
-Joseph Roux
I was blessed to spend some great times with Steve during our formative high school years. From basketball practices & games to his Camero & the girls ... the many memories bring nothing but a smile and a chuckle. Man did we use to laugh alot.
Big guy, you will be missed!
