Steve Glisson Obituary

GLISSON, Steve ANDREWS - Steve Alan Glisson, 51, died Sunday, September 17, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Glisson was born in Hemingway on October 30, 1954, a son of the late James Richard Glisson and Dorothy Mae Feagin Glisson. He was a heavy equipment operator with Leo Lambert Logging Co. for the past six years and a former employee of Cooper Logging Co. Mr. Glisson was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fox hunting. He was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. Surviving are: his wife, Gaynell Gibson Glisson of Andrews; a son, Joseph Alan Glisson of Andrews; a daughter, Stephanie Glisson of Andrews; a brother, Jimmy Glisson of Andrews; three sisters, Rhonda Howard and Sherrie Evans, both of Andrews, and Linda Renkin of Charleston; and a grandson, Stephen Glisson of Andrews. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, September 19, 2006, at Pine Crest Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Addie Cook and the Rev. Ron Ogle.
